Default How do i disconnect my ABS and is it reccomended?

I have recently bought a set of alloy brembos and 355mm discs and need to fit them to my saph 4x4, anyway my question was basically how do i disconnect the ABS. In otherwords is it safe just to remove just the sensors or ABS unit in the dash???? It won't try and cut in or anything bizarre like that will it, as i have had problems with it in the past, where it has randomly cut in for no reason.

no, you'd really need to look at repairing it IMO

it's a great system when working properly, not like shonky RST mechanical ABS anyway.

removing it would be bad i reckon

Hi! The only thing i don;t like with the ABS is when you have stiff suspension and the road is bumpy, or if you use your car on the track when you come to a corner where the tarmac is very bumpy on the braking points. Then the ABS will make you loose braking force if your wheels slightly lifts from the tarmac. I usually disconnect it for track use.

IF YOU WANT TO DISCONNECT THE ABS FOR TRACK USE, JUST PULL ONE OF THE PLUG'S ON TOP OF THE FLUID RESERVOIR OFF
