Default Standard KA/SportKa Bumpers

Hi, I've just joined and got a bit of a newbie question, hope you folks dont mind.

I currently drive a MR2 Roadster, but I need a small, cheap (to buy and run!) runabout as a small business workhorse/promocar. I am thinking of getting an ex-BT fleet Ka in white, and if I can source sportka bumpers (off a front and rear end bumpy), and have them sprayed white, then add the 16s off (I think) a mondeo si (the ones that look a little bit like the cossie alloys without the dish), lower it a bit (35/40mm?) and have the car stickered up for the company. I’m hoping it should make a tidy looking little car.

My question is... how much work is it to get the sportka items on the standard ka? I have searched this forum, and not really found anything. I did search the net, and found an old thread from 2005 where it was done with a purple ka, but there wasn't much detail on how difficult it was.

If anyone can offer any sort of advice, it would be much appreciated

Kindest regards

Scott

they will clip straight on but you might have to mod how the clips are held on because the normal ka use round clips(a bit like door card clips )and the sport one uses long square clips but other than that all the screw holes are in the same place

As Zippy said, I've done it and standard bumper clips are perfectly up to the job!
