are there not ne scrappys near you? should be able to pick an engine up for around a oner from scrapyard. or look on fleabay

that way you have spares etc when yu need em

 

I have a rebuilt short motor (cvh) that i built as a spare for my race car, but its taking up space now. 1mm over bore which makes it a 1680cc. Don't quote me, thats what i've been told. Make me a sensible offer. I'm in north herts. Up M11 or A10.
