what size tyre should i get on my escort cossie rims they are going on a sierra .

will 225/40 be fine? also is this the std size?

 

you will need 215/40/16 on them mate think you can get away with 205's also

 

I had 225/40 on the rear of my old 3dr and it was fine, no rubbing and had 215/40 on the front. I wouldn't put a 205 on an 8j wheel as it will be too stretched, it might not even go on anyway, a 215 will be fine for the front.
