well i am currently converting my erst to efi ofab management,, but i am unsure if the wirng i have been sold is ofab,, as it maybe a 3i loom..

my problem is,,, the car starts and tick over perfectly, it revs perfectly..

but when i try to set off in the car it wont pull away,, keeps trying to stall,,, its as tho any preasure on the engine it tries to die... so i dont know what my problem is,, maybe the map sensor???

 

Well, first things first, they never made a MK4 Turbo loom. They are relatively the same however, a few minor wiring alterations etc and also the MAP plug has to be changed.

So you are running OFAB, what MAP sensor have you got?

Are you aware of any wiring work it has had done to it?

 

just found out my problem,, it is a ofab loom and map sensor..
my problem was that the air filter that i had on wernt letting enough air through which was giving me turbo stall or it was sucking up the pipe.. so now i have it sorted and it runs spot on without the filter...

has any1 got a cone filter for sale to fit a t3 turbo????
