hi all.. basically i have a new t34 with .48 exh fitted to my 2wd and my mate has a 4wd with the .63 exh but feels really laggy can my turbo be fitted to the 4wd without swapping the manifolds.. its just he wants to try a smaller one to see if it makes his car any more responsive.. i wolud just say to drive mine but its off the road .. cheers..
Yes mate the turbo will still fit without changing the manifold, but you do need to seperate your turbo and spin the housing round a bit, i have a 2wd manifold for sale if he wants to make me an offer on it
Not quite that straightforward unfortunately -
the (standard) 2wd turbo housing has 4 studs that mount through 4 holes in the manifold;
the 4x4 manifold has 4 studs that pass through 4 holes in the 4x4 turbo housing.
