I've bought steel h-section conrods for my fiesta rs turbo, however the guy i spoke to at turbosport said they were for any cvh.

They arrived today and i've noticed that they do not have the oilways in the big end like the standard ones do, and farndon rods also do.

have i got the wrong rods or is that just the way they are? Thanks a lot

 

Many high spec CVH rods don't have them for some reason.

 

I wouldnt personally use the engine hard without the under piston cooling spray if i were you.

 

hmm i wondered how long it would be before this guys stuff would turn up on the forum

i had a flywheel made by him that doesnt actually fit, all i got was - 'well thats your problem' basically

i asked if they did a flywheel for xxxxxx to take xxxxxxx clutch - ' yes no problem' was the reply email, i waited alot longer than he said it was gonna be, then it turned up, and to be honoust - its second rate. didnt/doesnt fit the clutch properly.

was offered nothing to sort his mess out what soever -

Fair enough. I have never seen or heard of anyone other than the forum so just assumed...

 

I had my 200 block long studded and wire rung by Turbosport and I was 100% happy with the job (lives close to me so had a look round his workshop etc whilst I was there) and the price..... this was nearly 3 years ago.

personally i think the guy is a guesser at what he does, and i think he copies stuff from other people, badly.
