MK3 XR3i form Hungary
Hi mates!
I asked you some questions before, now I'm showing you my car. It's still far away from the final stage, but slowly it's getting prettier
So it's an MK3 XR3i, from 1984.

Engine:
10.0:1 compression
288/280 camshaft, adjustable pulley
Polished inlet and exhaust ports
Heat-shielded downpipe
Rocker cover painted red

Suspension:
Bilstein shock absorbers
Deflex bushes
Interior:
Oil pressure and battery voltage gauge
Gearknob with Ford logo from Ebay

Future plans:
Converting K-Jetronic to Weber DCNF-s like Geree's Fiesta
Originally it was silver, but was painted over before I bought it, with poor quality, now it looks so:

So complete chassis repair and new colour will follow as well. (Planning graphite grey of RS1600i's).

K-Jet provides a lots of problems, vacuum leaks, system pressure regulator etc. (I already met some, and asked in the Q&A section.) It is impossible to get new parts, or when there are some left at Bosch, they cost more than the car itself. Getting used ones is neither a solution.
That's the first reason.
Second reason is, that is cannot provide enough fuel for me, it would be more powerful with this camshaft, but it needs more fuel. And it makes faster response to any movement on the pedal
And the look: my personal opinion is, that the carbs look good with K&N's.
K-jet doesn't look good anyway...

1. Vacuum leaks? use some new gaskets and hoses, they don't cost much
2. System pressure regulator: you can use also VW/Audi ones.
New parts are not cheap, but used parts do their work many more years
It provides more than enough fuel for a 308° camshaft

Anyway, does anyone know how much fuel a K-Jet injector can transport (cc/min), and what is the factory setting for the pressure regulator?

Cam is not an original Schrick, but a professional copy of it.
245€ is real for the genuine one, it was about the half of it.

But keep in mind, that it's done from my original cam, so it's not a new one.
