Does anyone have a list of all the possible parts or problems which may cause the warning/handbrake light to come on?

handbrake switch (or wire shorting to earth)

low brake fluid (or connector on float level not connected)

maybe more, but that's something to go on

Have you had centre console out/screwed anythin down onto transmission tunnel????
Only reason I ask is that the wire to the switch on the handbrake runs along the tunnel under console,and as said above is a switched earth,so anythin breaking/sticking into wire would put light on
