Turbo conversion S2 to S1
Has anyone put a s2 mfi turbo lump into a mk3 escort before ?
Are there any bits i need to look out for ?
Also they have different intercooler piping, can i use the s2 piping and s2 intercooler ? or do i have to switch everything to s1 ?

Ive got two complete whole cars ie the turbos complete and the xr3s complete. I was going to use the standard 4 speed box just to keep it a bit original.
Intercoolers an aftermarket pace jobby just till i can afford a front mount.
Could i get the turbo running in the mk3 with all the bits i have or do i need to sorce extra bits ?

Wheres theres a will theres a way, MK3 gearbox will make your life easier, ive got a S2 rad and IC in my MK3 cabby, if you use a S1 rad it is very simple to run water cooling off the standard rad, just pipe work. piece of piss to fit to fit the S2 rad though, engine mount is the same, gearbox mounts are different becuase the box is different.
What do you think a S1 is?

engine mount is different... as sed above and i sed earlier...if u turbo charge ur car u will probably kill that standard box...
id put S1 box in it matey!
