Default Which size wheels better for running 1/4 mile times?

Hey, wondering if some of you could give me some advice. Got a local 1/4 mile event coming up soon and want to know does the size wheel you run make a noticeable difference to the times.

My S2 has 17's with Toyo T1-R's, last year when i took part in the event i used standard S2 wheels on the front with low tyre pressures.

All i need to know is will it be better to use the 15's again or should i just stick with my wheels?

Cheers

The 15's will be better as the 17's are increasing the gearing which will give slower acceleration. So back to standard is youre best bet for quicker 1/4 mile times.Regards Micky

waist off time for 1/4mile as there are no DECENT tyres available in this size.

15's with drag radials is the BEST way to go, or 17's with drag radials if you have the power/torque to pull the gearing

There are 5 good choices of Tyres available for 16in.

The ones i have are 205/40/16 Try finding other wheels that will fit and clear big brakes + being able to fit decent tyres etc..

were talking 1/4mile not track day hence why your running 13's with low 12second mph get some 17" drag radials on and be ready to pick the gearbox up.
