please help,as above run only 40#50 miles steadily,then tapping and breathing heavily,back to lad i bought it,250 to sort it,new pistons x4 ??? great when it came back,run almost 600 miles not letting turbo try to even kick in,overly cautious i know but!!!anyway on way to york raceway bank hol monday last,same again,breathing heavily,to point where filling car,still drives fine or did till i got bk and parked her up,turbo 100%breathing heavily thru oil filler and dip,very tappety or rattly up top thou not sure which it is,standard zetecs with a bit took off, but why, not running boost should they go again,or 1 anyway,wish sum1 could help as i cant afford to pay again just 2get 4weeks of running in to blow again,was going to do the calibra turbo pistons n bore but whats saying its the pistons,im really stressed,had a 306 n various other french stuff laughing at me on way home from york(so have got to get her well again)need help from sumwhere even if its from up above rite just now,nobody i know wants to bother with the diagnostic bit,just wanna throw bids in at putting 4 pistons in again,please help me find sum1 that mite actually want to help and fix it without the only reason being what hes gonna get paid 4 outta ov it,sureley sum1 sumwhere likes a challenge and getting paid is just a bonus,sorry if ive gone on,thats how bad its got,thankyou befoehand if any1 helps,need to at least find out what shes capable of,oh,if it helps,kent cams,verniers,injectors,brown i think??5th 1 also,its that bad that sexual favours could be an option lol please help sum1,thanx

 

try a simple compression test of the cylinders to see if the compressions down, stating a piston/head crack problem,

make sure all you breathers are clear etc and has the car been setup at all ??

dont think its been set up other than the point of getting it running, struggled to get a compression test done to do with the depth of the plug holes,or so i was told,not too clued up with the tech stuff,breathers appeared to be fine,thou now its just like an old steam engine at min,when previously did it,about a 1p size and 2mm deep bit came off piston,near to top,told barrel wasnt scored/maked??
