Default fuel pumps

general quick question:

my saff is/was a 1.8CVH but i just put a new engine in it. The haynes manual kinda contradicts itself and says that the CVH has an in-tank pump, then it says it has a pump on the cylinder head.

Which have i got?.. can't check just now as it's dark... just so i know if i need to go to the scrappy tomorrow.

If its got a carb the pump will be on the head, if its injection it will have an electric pump in/near the tank.
