advice really never owned or driven one, got a possible K plate coming in px this weekend any advice?

 

Stay away from JAP auto boxes as i've heard they're weak.

Fire up the AC/heating or whatever full blast and make sure it doesn't steam/smoke as the heater matrix seems to be a common problem.

Other than that probablt just your usual checks.

 

erm 90 percent of em are auto?

 

think the UK models were mostly/all automatics, but the jap imports were auto or manual.

UK auto's are fine though afaik

 

they done uk 300 zx twin turbos?

 

UK models were only twin turbos i think?.. don't think you can get a UK N/A.

 

and there was me thinking they all were imports

I had a uk twin turbo 5 speeder a few years back!
Was ok to drive but didn't feel sporty really. Lacked any real driver involvement and was more like a Lexus as was quiet and smooth! The only mechanical problem i had in the few thousand miles i did was when the trignition pack died and this cost me 500 quid to replace
