Default brake question

Hey peeps

In the process of getting my s2 back on the road but before I do, I wanna upgrade the brakes.. I have standard 15's on and there not being changed so whats the biggest and best set-up that will fit under them?

Been told 2wd cossie ones would be good but can you fit the 4 pots and 283mm discs under standard s2 wheels?

Any help would be sweeet

No, you need some faitly sizeable spacers to clear the wheels from what im told, the ultimate upgrade to fit under standard rimes is meant to be st170 calipers with 2wd discs, or 4x4 calipers with 2wd discs

safechav you're a bit tangled mate (i think)!

st170 will NOT fit under 15s, cossie on the other hand will.

4x4 caliper + 2wd disc will bolt straight on (with washers)
2wd setup will go on but caliper will need machining

I may have got it wrong, im positive the 4 pots need spacers to clear the wheels aswell as the machining though.

I thought the ST170 brakes were single pots and fitted under 15's but im likely to be wrong on that
