Default removing camshaft

I bought a s/hand polished head a little while back which had a kent cvh 35 cam in it.

I plan to have it skimmed and checked over before i fit it so i started stripping it down earlier.

Its completely stripped but cant get the cam out?!

It comes out about 3 inch or so then stops, ive been trying for ages with no luck.

Any suggestions would be a great help

twist it whilst pullung gently, should have to turn it a few times, as odd lobes catch... careful not to damage the lobes/bearings

remove all rockers, lifters and thrust plate, the cam should then come out through the dizzy end.

You are trying to extract it the right side yeah? It can only be removed from the dizzy side, and as said you usually have to spin it about 180 degrees to pass each bearing seat.
