Default Stage 1 info pls

I've heard this is around 170bhp? am i right?

I've also heard from a reliable source that chipping an rst can improve fuel consumption in normal driving circumstances. That would be the main reason why i'd go for a stage 1.

also would it be more fun to drive or a bit mental?

i think it depends on which company...

to get to 170- 180bhp all u really need is a chip, -31 actuator and up the boost... also id get intercooler to b safe!

exhaust will help also!

for 180bhp i'd say you'd need:

chip
-31
mongoose/magnex
cam
13-14psi boost

Drives lovelly at that power, feels like a different car with the extra 20bhp!

when it comes on boost, should pull very well

Mines 185 (i Think) on low boost, pulls beautifully at that. little torque steer and fantastic acceleration right up through the gears.

Although you will get used to it, ive not had mine long and already im more on the high boost when the conditions are right.

Fantastic drive though but it all depends what you want it for really, berst o luck mate

Stg 1 imo is ideal power, it's nice and useable. . . reliable. . . and enough to give a good few cars a run for their money!

can always improve things with a bigger cooler, which i'd prob get anyway with the rest in place!

Cheers for the replies. the only things i'd get is -31, chip. i've got the exhaust. dont want an intercooler though as want it to look standard, but if a chip and increase boost produced too much heat and i HAD to have an intercooler for it to be safe......i think i'd stay standard.
