Hey people

loving the site, only just found it. feel a bit shameful as you guys are chatting bout you're rst's and i own something not nearly as exciting! any ways, i've recently purchased a 2003 fiesta 1.4 zetec. its not a bad car, does the job. i'd really like to change the head unit though as the one in there at the mo is the standard one, its not bad but with plans to add on more sounds later, i'd like to change it. problem is, the way that the stereo is set out, its in 3 sections. 1 for the cd deck, 1 for the display, and one for the controls. was just wondering if anyone has changed the head unit in a 2003 fiesta, and if so, how to go about it??

any help would be great.

I don't know how they all come out vut i'm sure u can get some sort of conversion facia to fit a normal stereo in, possibly from Halfords or something.

you might need pins to take it out if not its prob screwed in from behind.there is a replacement facia panel u can buy for a aftermarket stereo i think they are about Ł15.

yer sorry i didnt really make my self clear u can buy the aftermarket panel but you will have 2 cut the 2 bars out of the three sections the stereo its self iis very hard 2 get out and i no for 1 halfords will not fit it try a more specialist stereo fitter and welcome 2 passion ford
