Pull that off mate and i think you will get more than you thought you would find
And a broken nose

 

just want to cover it in alcantara (however u spell) already done the banana part of the dash...
looks the bollocks

 

Dont do it

 

If you look at it closely I think the surrounding part of the dash has to come off and the there are bolts behind it that let it come out. Please be careful. if you touch it and static electricity from your hand hits the contacts it will deploy and hurt you. You've been warned.

you cant mate, its riveted on to the airbag brackets,if you did cover it with anything then the airbag wouldnt be able to burst through!
