Just make sure all the numbers add up.

To be fair, one of those at that age and low milege shouldnt have anything wrong with it. Just check for excessive smoke really.

yes the warranty is void at the present time, i dont know how much a service would be from ford, it will be the 3rd service.

can do the brakes myself.

what would you think to offer?

I wouldn't offer anything!!! Well maybe around 4k.

The car is worth a lot less than one that has been fully maintained and with warranty.

dunno, go in with something seriously low, say to the the seller i aint taking the piss, but it had a knock ( bumper ) and clearly aint been looked after (missing a servive ) its going to cost X amount at fords to get service, do brakes etc, even tho your doing it yourself.

say £5000 then meeting at £5750, then thats about £1000 to $1500 below decent market value, show the add for the blue one ect?

worth a try.

but as said there hundreds of focus to choose from.

personally i'd walk away

Are diesel Focus's the same service intervals as the petrol Focus's then?

If they are, its gone 9k over its service on the same old oil. I wouldnt want the risk of buying a car that you know hasnt been serviced properly and that excessive engine wear might have already occured that you might not notice now, but 2-3 years down the line when you done another 20k miles you might be finding problems.

Find another TDCI Sport IMO

IMO fil cant see him going that low! im not rushing into things, ill keep an eye on it for now, most tdci SPORT go between £7100 and £8000 on autotrader.

£6700 and i may rethink about it.

andyrst, i read the service book and it said every 12500 for a service on this model.
