Default VW autos
Anyone had any experiance with newish VW automatics? Thinking of gettting better spec Passat and might get auto one, but wondered if the boxes in them are any good. IE smooth, and reliable?

my work sells alot of the tiptronic autos and i've never seen one back yet with transmission problems.

do you mean the dsg box? If so we've got a load of vw' at work and they're all a pleasure to drive, even the 1.6 golf dsg.

im mean the normal bog std auto tip box thats in the Passat. Not the BLing Bling one in the new Golf.
