I have a T3 turbo i am gonna sell, however i wanna check it out before i do, what checks can i make to check the turbo, i have checked play in the shaft, no play at all other than a little left to right, which i was told when breaking my cossie is normal, is this true?

 

check the exhaust side and see if there is any oil visable as that' a sign that rear seal's on it's way if it's dry inside then should be all good!
