Default cossie ticking over problem

i have a 3dr cossie running a stage 1 tune, since its a show car it doesn't get much use.
one problem that has developed is that when ticking over it will rev itself for a split second and then be fine. it also brings in the engine managment light. is there a sensor or something causing this?

cheers matthew

Possibly ISCV (Idle Speed Control Vale). Take it out and clean with some WD40 or carb cleaner
