I have a full kit of clear perspex windows fitted to my S2 (every window except the front screen) and both front windows have the sliders in. the kit cost me £225 inc VAT and delivered, from Airdale Race Components 01423 360456.

They were a total bitch to fit too especially the rear screen, and at speed they can be a bit noisy with the wind coming through the sliders.

And as for security I cant see them being any worse than glass to be honest, If a thief wants to get in your car he will, plastic windows or not

Cheers

Paul

Whenever we 'nut and bolt' we ONLY ever use plastic nuts and bolts

these look the nuts and will be a great weight saver. i may be interested. what is the visability like with these fitted and do they look tacky once they have been in a while. The pics look really good, would you put em on an everyday road car???? its not left in car parks or anything but used everyday.

I personally wouldnt put them anywhere near an everyday road car no.

They do look tacky after a while IMHO, and will leak like fcuk from day 1, so if your worried about looks and wet carpets then your missing the point

i was thinking the same gus

one thing im thinking about is leaving the car unattended at shows etc, and the lack of locks on the sliders thats the only place i will ever leave my car outdoors while im not there.
