hi.
id like to renew the brake pipes on my escort rst,but when looking at fittings to order,there are two sizes,3/8 unf or m10.
which one will i need to fit?

im sure mine were m10,but dont qoute me on that. tek off your pipe ,(make sure they have both types available first) and show the shop. dont forget ,youll have to flare the ends

 

The majority of the threads are M10 x 1.0 pitch, u will notice one connection on the master cylinder is larger, and sorry i don't know its size

 

should be listed on the motor factors computer, if not call ure local ford garage, they can check on there system, what ever one they say go for the other they allways get it rong

 

I believe that the larger one on the master cylinder is an M12 thread, the ford part no is 6758609. There are also two M12 thread female connectors that go onto the rubber abs hoses (if your still running that) they're part no 6145094
