Can anyone tell me how easy/hard it is to just swap the upright centre section of the RST front recaro's (as in the lumbar part that has the badge on it)??

 

Very simple.

The whole seat comes apart with ease.

It will have a long metal pin which is held in place via metal clips. Unclip the pin and the section will come out.

CheeRS. I want to avoid taking the seats apart any more than I need to. They are VERY good, just that my original centre's are slightly tighter.

 

The bottom bit is a bit of a slag..........you're meant to unclip the top first in order to slide the bottom plastic bit out, unclipping the top isnt too bad, can be a bit fiddly.

Re-assembly of the bottom plastic slider thing can be a bit more challenging though
