why is my overboost cutting in on 7psi of boost
check all the boost pipes etc etc, if you ain't got a gauge in it borrow one from another one of your rs's
Mine used to retard in 5 gear on constant boost on the motorway so i backed it off slightly and problem sorted and that was 9psi other than this get it tuned mate may help
Let us now of the outcome andy.

The car came from cheshire and going by the hundreds of receipts its spent most of its life at JOHN NOBLE MOTORSPORT and the other half at TURBO TECNICS so i reckon theres a good chance its chipped lol
ah so its been removed at some point was there a cover over the port at the bottom of the ecu ? as this means it hasusually had it removed
does the car run a boost gauge ? as the actuator may be letting it hit a bit too much boost etc and causing this as i had my car set to hit and hold a perfect 7psi when i bought it and just of late it started to hit 8-9 psi and boost cut so i have ordered a chip a front mount and a new actuator
