Default OIL BREATHER SLUDGE

Just replaced the hose in the breather and inside the breater looks sludge
bit like cream is this normal or can do i have a problem ?>

sludge of a white colour and slimy texture tends to be oil and water mixing, I had a similar problem with my breather set up on my old S2 water had got into the pipes and mixed with the oil in the breather system. best idea is to check the sump for this aswell.

Prob find its moisture in the air thats mixed with the oil vapours from the breather pipe and formed a sludge

It comes from condens water( hope this is the right word )
When the temperature changes rapidly inside the engine, water comes from the air that is inside the engine from the breater pipe

this is fairly normal for a car in winter , once the weather warms up as it is now ) you wil find it gets less and less and goes clear again, its worse on short stop/go jouneys aswell.
