My mates saff is running a 500 style cooler,Pace 65mm rad,no stat,early 2wd head,and while driving on and off boost his water temp is a staggering 90 to 92 oC

Whats your thoughts?

 

Deffo correct temperature,not a dodgy gauge/sender??????

How olds the rad,would suggest blocked rad

Feel the rad and see if its the same temp all over,had my standard one on my old 4x4 saph get blocked up,half of the cooling fins were blocked when I had it re-conned
