Just done a search on the net for some IT Job Agencies and there are fookin hundreds of them! Just curious really to see what the market rates are etc (trying to tempt myself ).

Does anyone know of use/registered with any of the agencies and if so which ones? London City jobs only im afraid!

what IT do you do ?? ie 1st 2nd 3rd, Consultant, Network, Project

 

Kev, done 4 yrs 2nd line desktop, 4 yrs in 3rd/projects, front office primarily (arsehole equity traders! ). Both London and abroad.

Been out of it for 8 months so ideally would like something like 2nd line / project non trade floor (private banking/law sector etc). City only not the Docklands - and not for Tulletts!!

Law pay isnt as good as banks matey ie our 2nd line lot get about 25-30k

We have just filled 2 external roles for 3rd line Infrastructure Services roles one network the other servers advertised to start @ 40k

 

Ah right i thought that law would be on par with banking! Thats the sort of money im after if its non trade floor ideally. Id even go for £35k to get be back into it.

Who do you work for? I thought it was UBS or CSFB wasnt it??

yeah i think thats the old woman! She moaned about my van being parked in the middle of that small section bit near Andys!! He hates her!!! She looked like she hadnt received a length in a while! There was talk of 5 of us going over the and ruining her after a night out!!!! !
