Default PAYPAL requesting PIN to my card?

Had my PAYPAL account limited as I havent supplied my PIN number with my new card details yet. Is this right as I havent ever been asked for my PIN online for shopping, bit unsure, it is the Legit PAYPAL site though but...

Anybody else had this??

Paypal uses CCV(2) - the number on the back for verification NOT your PIN number
