Can anyone tell me where i can get some of the rubber mountings for fuel pump carrier on S2 and also the big bracket that holds carrier to car as we got a three piece kit from auto specialists and found that there is no bracket in there

 

No your right there isn't a bracket in the AS kit.....you still need the chassis mount and the rubber mounts & nuts and possibly a spare wheel well mount.

You may still be able to get them from Ford. I got mine end of 2004 admittidly but it's worth a try:

Chassis Bracket - F6168055 £27.00 each
Rubber Mounts - F6167524 £4.22 each
Nuts - F1502836 £0.25 each

That's what he has already bought mate. BUT he needs the chassic mount and rubber mounts that hold the pump in place, they don't come with the kit

FORD still stock this part.You can,t buy just the rubber mountings.They come moulded into the carrier plate

 

Because it's usually just the actual 3 peice pump cradle that rots away, and perhaps manufacturing cost's, who knows although the chassis mount can be bad too, I replaced mine anyway...

 

Yes, that's correct, on the part number I quote above I was going on the assumption that he meant the small rubber mountings that actually hold the fuel pump in place

 

iv got that part in the picture going spare,if i can find it, i got it from a brackers when mine got damaged, but the garage the car was in, made one up by hand.
