Default My 2.1 Zetec Turbo

Well, after being fooked around on several parts etc etc, it has finally come together.....these are the final pics taken before the engine will be fitted to the car (very shortly!) At fookin last eh, Im pleased to say all the delays in parts being supplied have been worth it.

Unfortunatly the only thing missing that i'd have liked to have fitted right away is the bigger cossie turbo I have on a tubular manifold, unfortunatly the manifold hasnt turned up yet, so will have to wait a while, as I cant wait any longer

For the eagle eyed amongst you, youll notice the exhaust manifold/turbo etc hasnt been bolted down, this is because its going to have to be removed to fit the engine, so no point in wasting a gaskset for a photo

Cheers, Phil.

Cheers lads

Lee, I CAD designed the plate myself mate, had it laser cut, and a local engineering place dealt with the tapping so it can be fitted to the manifold. Will take some more pics of the plate tommorow if you like mate.

You still have them original pistons mate? May relieve you of them, saves you being stuck with them....let us know

Management is already in the car and is SECS S8.

Find? thats just the start of the hassle mate!! T16 ones everywhere, but ive only ever come accross 2 M16 ones, and one is on my engine .

Then theres the cutting and fabrication for the throttle body, the ACT sensor mounting issue, the what to do about ISCV issue, the issue with the fuel rail fittings being dodgy sizes, the issues with the Weber FPR not fitting on the rail.....the how to get it actually onto the head

WHat a fucking nightmare!!! Well worth it in the end though, but dont fancy doing it again in a hurry!
