hi all, the idle on ym s1 jumps to 2k when i pump brakes up quickly, any idea why it does this, the one way valve form inlet to servo is fine.

Mine did that too m8 .

 

It will do it if you pump the brakes Andy. You're exhausting all the vacuum in the servo thus allowing more air into the engine. As long as it doesn't rev up to 2k when you press the pedal once (like that silver servo) then there is nothing to worry about.

 

cheers daz, just need to sort out the flatspot now

and she now likes her fuel

 

I'd get a quick fueling check done on it to make sure it's not running rich mate.

Mine has never been that economical to be honest...
