Default Big BHP figure

Im really into my RST now and want more power.
Different people say different things about different engines but I'd like as many views as possible as to what build to go for.
I want as much BHP as possible obviously but want to keep my car reliable as possible aswell.
What kind of money have you people put into your builds aswell???
My car just now was running 205bhp at high boost but has given me gasket failure between cylinders so its all turned down just now till it goes to AVA this week.
I just want an idea of what spec I should look for to speak to them about it when Im in getting a set-up.
I was thinking 2.1 Zetec Bottom end/Stage 3 head kind of lines.......
Whats your views anyway??

Cheers

Just bear in mind mate that you can give the car as much power as your wallet will allow - but it's still a FWD car which means you still need to get the power down.............you could well get taken off the lights by a car far less powerful as he'll be able to put the power down. Once you get going you'll be off but even then you may still get wheelspin. This then places a lot more strain on the moving components (gearbox, driveshats, clutch etc). BHP in a road car is pub talk bullshit in real terms - I went for torque and midrange which is where you really notice it rather than just 'numbers'.
