My brothers FRP is very slugish to get going..and there also seems to be a loud bang from the exhaust. Has anyone any ideas?

 

The exhaust manifold and system can rust through.

Is the sluggishness related to the exhaust or was it a separate issue?

 

Its probaly the torque limiter that all puma's have. This is to prevent damage to the gear box. You need to be in 2nd gear and above 3000rev;s before the cat gets going


The loud bang from the exhaust is great Its back pressure.
