3 door chipping advice
Hi, i have a stage 1 3 dr cossy with a Super Chip running 270bhp. I presume i'm running a L1 Ecu ? I'm just thinking of acquiring bits n bobs as i see stuff to enable me to maybe chip it in time towards 350-400bhp.
What replacement Ecu should i go for ? Are they generally straight swop fitments ? Do i go greens, light blues, greys ? I think i have a 3 bar map sensor and -31 actuator already fitted.
If i can buy the right bits in time i intend to have it all set up at someone like NMS or MSD or Gibbs etc just need advice on specific bits - oh and not to forget turbo talk, all these shaft sizes and housings mean foook all to me so if anyone can tell me in plain English i'd be much obliged.

to run 350-400bhp you will need (if you haven't already got it)
3 bar map sensor (very unlikely you have 1 on stg1 chip)
T34 turbo (escort cosworth)
RS500 type intercooler
GRP A head gasket as bare minimum
light blues or greys
I'd go for a L8 ecu, (in fact i just have) for that to work you need a 4x4 cossie throttle position sensor, and then the outer two wires going to it need switching.
on standard cams this will see you up to around 370bhp i'd guess
