my box went on me today... cudnt get any gears...

anyway my car is about 220bhp with bout the same torque...

i no i can get hold of another S2 box for cheap but i dont wanna keep changin them...

So i need ur help....

wot sort of spec box u think i need to b reliable with that power and torque?

i also defo want a LSD in it as it made all the difference from a box that was in it wen i bought it!

yea, wen mine is done it will be similar spec to yours i think. mine will be cossie management and has a piper cam and a stage 2 turbo. i bet ya gutted ya cant be down basildon tonight arent ya? spoke to a mate earlier whos gone and he said its well busy down sea front etc tonight. i want my car done!!!

they had my box in for stage 1 rebuild they had it for 2 weeks £581 inc VAT top job Bernie and the boys at CTS

Got a Bernie box in my S2 and I cannot fault it even with my slightly heavy handed driving style.

We just got another box off him for my brothers 200bhp FRST and I shall be ordering one up as well for my own FRST when my box lets go.

They are simpley the Dogs Bollocks and Bernie is a top guy to do business with

I am running a Stage 2 Plus gearbox from CTS (Gearboxman).

It has shot peened and polished S2 ratios on a new mainshaft with largder bearings and a Quaife ATB diff. I haven't run the projected power output through it yet (it's only about 180/190 ish at the moment).

Cost just over £1300 IIRC...
