Was reading a bit on another forum about a 20year old, in 10k worth of debt.
Then another chap noted that he owed 21k by the time he was 20!?

What debts do you have? Not including the mortgage...

8k student loan thats it, but you pay fuck all back a month so doesnt even affect me

well ive now paied for my boiler that i got a loan out for last month,,,,,, 2k i could have done with out paying


apart from that i owe switch on here about 200 quid i think

 

Ł7k which i guess at aged 30 aint too bad. all manageable even tho not currently working at minute which pisses me right off

 

Yeah, if they've been to uni thats not really alot to be fair......

 

24 payed for my cossie out right but fooked my self up a few years back i o 2400 now

 

I have an overdraft of 700 quid.

Nowt else, dont even have a credit card.

I remember back in my Mobile phone sales days, a girl who had been 18 for around 8 months and was credit black-listed. She owed over Ł30k.

 

I've got a mortgage and a grand on a credit card I think. Don't have any other loans anymore which is nice

 

bout 200quid an im 20 my cousin doesnt drive an lives with her parents an owes 12k dunno how she does it, my old work mate had about 14k of debt an he didnt care said he was going to declare himself bankrupt, which is wiped in 3years.

all manageable with a good disposeable income after paying everything too

 

I'm 24 and owe Ł8.5k, bloke in work is 27 and owes Ł35k

I work in finance mate, Ł35k on plastic and loans is nothing compared to some - and alot more people than you may think !!!!

Although i have a fair bit to show for it , its not like its just been spent with nothing to show for it.

Although im now in a much better paying job and am saving over 1k a month on average now, after loan repayment + rent + bill's etc etc

And like Graceland said above, its manageable debt, and i have plently of spare money should i need it, and a nice balance in my savings account, planning to put that towards a house deposit in the next few years

 

a 6G bank loan, cossie conversions,wifes,kids and home improvements dont come cheap you know,i dont think thats bad at 35 with a good building trade income.

 

I know a couple who have 2 kids and theyre 23 and 24 years old.

They're 30k in debt and don't have a mortgage

i'm 31 bought cossie have and have a morgage and don't owe a penny
it has took me a while to get like this , but it is better than big bank loans .

 

Will have about 16k of debt when I finish uni.....that's life I suppose!

21 yrs old.. all in all owe about Ł1500- Ł2000

 

I owe the slate 25 quid otherwise none, dont and wont do credit cards, loans or overdrafts, learnt the lesson the hard way

 

20k and have absolutly nothing to show for it.

overdraft Ł800
Loan for 15 grand which i used to clear debts a few years back but got abit ripped off I think as after payment protection was added and interest the total loan amount is Ł27.000
plus i.m sure over years where my mum has bailed me out and said dont worry about paying me back must owe her over 8 grand

have nothing to show for debt just always skint

and live at home so cant even afford a morgage

suppose starting my project flea pit will take a mountain of cash but i can't borrow so slow progress

 

bout 7 k at the mo , 3 of wich i owe my old man ,

1.5 k on the loan i bought my rst with ,2 credit card , 400 4n bill . rest on over draft

am i worried > a little ,

but like me mate says

which is why my s2 is going into hiding lol

but thats only because i pay my braodband through it, if not that i would be free from bedt

9k - all i have to show for it my rs, hopefully i'll owe about 5k in 2yrs, move closer to home so i dont need car, sell rs for 5k if its still a minter then sorted..........but in reality, i'll always spend alot on cars, so will always be in debt.....especially on my shite salary
