Found a couple of my old 8mm camcorder tapes with national day 2001 + 2002

Noticed a saff bursting into flames just next to the pit wall on 2001 and a white Escos spinning off on the parade lap - 2002

Do the drivers come on here

 

I remember watching that

Never understood how he managed it, he was giving himself space so he could rag it, but he still span it at quite low speed

I got a bollocking from the marshalls for donutting the 3dr that year, i remember that much "I was turning round to follow him and my foot slipped"

 

I've got some vid footage somewhere from 2000 and 2001.

Got USL in her saff posting a 1/4 mile even an RS Turbo would be ashamed of

 

was 2002 the year with the 16i parade.......so long now can't remember if it was '02 or '03.....but mine actually made it there and back......back in the glory days when it started

 

Ah yes 02 was the year I was in the parade lap.. Dingy and I got bollocked for pushing in amongst the red and white ones (instead of the blues) Oooh they weren't happy.
