just wondering which FRST came with elec window switches in the door and which in the centre console, also i have a black centre console and didnt think they come with black 1s, ive got a 1992 moondust.

can any shed some light on this for me.

All 92 spec ones had the window switches in the doors & the centre console should be black.

did the 92 spec have a darker interior in general, like the rs1800's?

with black dashes, arm rests, carpet and plastic trims etc?

someone told me this a few weeks ago, but not sure how true it is?

No FRSTs had the Raven interior trim.

So all the cars you see that have got thr darker trim will have been changed at some point.
My only possible answer to this is maybe stolen recovered cars have been retrimmed to RS1800 spec after the original was stolen, since its very unlikely that you can get the original from Ford.

 

im pretty sure after august 91 all frs had switches in door pockets and raven darker door trims, console etc. so i dont think yours has a stolen interior mate!

 

Mine are in the door cards mines a j plate. maybe its a moondust thing matt

 

i had a k reg in red that was all geunuine and origanl and that too had switches in the door although it had grey dash etc as im sure all fiesta rst's have standard

 

This man Knows, If anybody who has black trim in their FRST & believes it to be Genuine Factory Fit ,just check the Vin plate trim code.

LA for FRST.
1st digit L stands for Shadow Grey.

SE or SQ for RS1800.
1st digit S stands for Raven.
