is 203 bhp good for 14 psi ???

went to have a look at the car and thats what i was told the spec is T3 turbo conversion, biege 701 injectors, -31 actuator, kent cams, ram air filter, bailey DV, stage 1 chip, full magnex he guy showed the a pic of when he went to buy it and it said 203 bhp really the only way to know if its true is get it rr help needed

 

well mine was 180 on standard cooler rad, injectors and t3 at 12 psi, so could well be mate

That spec would seriously benefit from a upgraded cooler to see full potential

 

You need an intercooler mate. Mine was at 207bhp on the stock intercooler but my priority is to now sort this before the weather improves and I end up in deep poo.

 

If your running beige injectors you really need an uprated fuel pump and stage 2 '195' chip.
Certainly you will need an uprated cooler.
You should then see what the car is capable of

 

sorry it has a pace intercooler and i think a oil cooler aswell and how much are stage 2 chips?

 

If you are running beige you will have a stage 2 chip as the chips are different and stage one will run a bag of sh!t with beige, i beleive you will already be running 195chip just because of your power figures

 

Out of interest what was your torque figure as mine made 207bhp but the torqu was about the 185lb whereas my brothers made 206bhp but made 230lb

 

When mine was roaded it made 160bhp @8psi holding and 193Ib touque it comes in real hard with hybrid T3 and jamsport head/kent36

 

Mine deffo needs a cam. I pinched the vernier pully off my old 2i before they came and took her to the salvage centre so I only need my Kent CVH35 and followers and I'm in business

 

From a buyers point of view take everything with a pinch of salt, not all but most people will tell you anything to sell a car, and you just really never know. A rr is really the only way....

Sounds familier. I viewed a well known mint white FRST with 200bhp. Was gutted when I drove to Wales and was greated by a complete nail running a stock intercooler and 11psi

Then the cheeky fook had the gall to call me a messer. I had the Ł3500 asking price in cash in my glovebox and my posts on the subject mysteriously got deleted.

he has no rr printoutof the 203 bhp all he has is the ad from when he was going to buy it i cant remember which fast ford he has but i know it was 2002 one i think it had a orange car on the front

The fact hes blagging you on about the pump is because they are in tank and theres no way u can tell if its uprated or not, well not while its in his possession anyway.

Chopping/changing stories and tripping over his own lies is a sure sign your going to get a good skanking.

Leave it a while then wave a wad of cash under his nose based on what you are prepared to pay.......
