Default Couple of 'exhausting' ST200 questions??

Had a look under the ST today only to find that the Standard system is on it's last legs, and will require changing sooner rather than later

Sooo this is 'semi' good news in the sence that I can fit a nice aftermarket system, (obviously the fact it's gonna cost a fukkin bomb is the flip side) But back to the System...

Question 1: What system? any preferences?

Question 2: Would I be right in thinking the CAT comes after the Flexi pipe? So I could (for non public highway use) fit a Decat between the flexi and the system?

Any advice gratfully accepted

The cat is after the flexy pipe, looks like a small silencer. as your having the exhaust replaced do the cat as well. The v6 mondeos have three cats in total that main one and one in each manifold, which means if you bin the main cat the other two are enough to keep emisions low enough to pass the mot . Loads of people on MEG have done it. As for which system, apparently blueflame release a bit of power and are quite often on flea-bay, but personally i don't like the tailpipes. I have a custom made powerflow, and prices range depending on the place that fits it. Mine was Ł282 all in at a place in redruth (cornwall).

Got too say, most un impressed so far with Blueflame, sent an e-mail, No reply... Rang them Tuesday, too late to get the exhaust out that day so ordered it to be delivered Friday as no one in thursday, later on a mate of mine said I could have it delivered there, so rang em first thing Wednesday morning to see if it was possable, 'yes no probs'... All Good!!

Mate waited in all day, No delivery, rang them last night, too late to find out whats happening, promised to ring me first thing today, so by 10.30 no call, I rang them to find it's still not been sent out due to them not having the correct 'trim' they can supply it with a different trim!! Why they didn't ring me yesterday? I would hav been quite happy with that. Too be fair too the guy I did really flip this morning and became quite hirate, as I took the day off work to fit it. I swore a fair bit and to be honest that was out off line on my part, but I was really fed up

So I am now "HOPEFULLY" getting it tomoro... (Saturday)

AND to top it all off, the price I was quoted, I was told was cheaper than they sell it on e-bay, only to find out when I looked, it's actually more expensive.

I just hope the quality of the exhaust is better than the Customer service

thats a shame, you are the first person I have heard who had had any issues at all, usually they are very good.

Hope it gets sorted.

Well... Got the Exhaust today, and fair play to em it does look nice and the fit was ok, although I still managed to slash my hand on a sliver of metal left on one of the cans...

Did fuk all about the difference in price either... gesture of goodwill springs to mind, but never mind it's on.

Shant recomend them tho.
