Hi all,

Mate of mine has a 3i cab which starts fine when cold runs for 2-3 mins then splutters and dies, and is really hard to restart. he change a few electrical bits and the cold start valve (albeit with a second hand one) but to no avail. It does seam like a cold start valve problem and when checked on a battery it clicks but doesn't when on the car, is there anything else we can check? or does anyone know what tells the csv to open or another way to test it.
