Most stories that are bad about coil overs are because they are fitted with to hard a spring. most second hand coil overs come from track cars and people fit them straight onto road cars and then complain they are to hard.
Fit the correct springs and you should have no probs.

I have them on the front of mine and didnt like them when they were first fitted. Quite used to them now though.

I wouldnt fit them unless i had to, needed the arch clearance due to 18" wheels. Think the konis give a much better ride.

when mine were fitted i hated them, high speed handling was awesome but ride qaulity very poor, i need to change my springs on the rear cos there on soft and still skippy, and get alot of axle tramping when i launch hard.

if your just using it for road use i would stick with koni tbh

SPAX PSX (adj damper) kit. Had them on my 3dr and was well impressed. The good thing is that you can adj both front and rear dampers with them on the car unlike the Koni rears that have to be removed.

Ł425 from Demon Tweeks i think.
