Default RRT lsd, wot oil best?

i've normally use normal hypoid 90 gear oil,

but 3 years ago i tried semi gear oil, and ever since the box has made a odd noise on engine braking, even after a flush and new hypiod fitted.

then last week a mate of mine sed someone told him, there's a oil thats better for the box,

is this true?

Danny

edited to read better.

you can get them 'pumped up' with a thicker viscous fluid if thats what you mean... but you cant do it by pouring it into the box
