Removed the engine from my new Saff a couple of weeks ago as it was a tad smokey and the clutch was slipping a little.
Got a bit carried away and stripped it completely and then re-built the engine with a 200 block i had here and another head.
In the meantime i aquired another 2wd saff in moonstone on a G with no engine and box and decided as that one was taxed and had cloth instead of leather that i would put the engine and box in that one instead of the flint one. The flint one will get put back together as soon as i can be bothered.
Just got it running today and its spot-on
Need to do a bit of running in now but should be ready for a good ragging at the pod

Was the turbo timer causing the ignition fault so that can go in the bin and the plug going to the dizzy that had been soldered on was shonky hence no spark! Sorted it in the pouring rain and it now runs like a swiss watch

Would have been done a lot quicker if i wasn't looking after my son from 2pm but playing with him is even more fun than getting covered in oil and getting soaked lol
