question about loans
have a loan took out the payment protection now question is if i get signed off by doctors for a few months or something will my loan get paid
or do i still have to pay it monthly
or do i still have to pay it monthly
it gets paid for you if its a case of you have a doctors note stateing u can't work for what ever period but u will have to check the small print to se if theres a clause in your loan saying it will only becovered in this way for a certain length before u have to pay it again your self
Not all policies cover sickness, sometimes it is only redundancy so you need to check the terms to see if you are covered. There's normally a waiting period at the start where you have to cover the first (say) 30 days and only then does the insurance kick in - often it won't make the first payment until you've been off for ANOTHER month after that.
And as stated above, it is usually only going to pay for a limited amount of time.
