i think dave found out after mounting it on the strut brace, that placing it next to the MAP sensor would have caused interferance issues.

So moved it to the bulkhead.

Am i right dave?

Remote oil filter replaces the std position one ...

I suggest you stand it up as well , the turbo oil feed is furthest away from gravity, will run dry as soon as you corner hard !

Cue conversations about baffled sumps etc...

No, it's remote, it moves the oil filter away from the block, it makes it easier to change and probably keep's the oil a bit cooler as well.

I havent commented on if it looks good or not, i have only commented on the reason for having a remote oil filter on the inner wing. o7:

You got 2 out of 3 facts right, i used to drive a RST (so did you not that long ago )

Andy, being genuine here... The remote filter was purely for ease of change, as on a 4x4 cosworth, the oil filter is located directly above the starter motor. Thus making changes not only a complete c*nt (with regards to loosening the filter) but also a messy c*nt of a job aswell.

Hence the remote filter on the wing. as its the only location for it.

Aeroquip was used as im not a fooking tight wad and dont scrimp on the car.

So please accept one of these...

and lets get back to your trainers!
