If your on about the car in your Sig ?
Try checking/changing your track control arm bushes as under acceleration and braking it will allow the wheels to move forward and backwards

As its connected to the crossmember I would doubt its that unless there is a big problem with the end of the steering arms.
I'd still be looking down at the wheel end of things if its just under braking.

As said above, will be a problem close to the wheel more than likely
Check wheel bearings, also that the wheels are sitting/fitting properly to the hub(correct spigot ring etc)
Are you 100% sure there is no play in bottom ball joints?????
Needs a big bar to lever them to check properly

I have this exact problem with my Rover !!
I found that when I had the wheels balanced acurately,it almost got rid of the 'wobble' completely.... It's back again,so I suspect that I've lost a balance weight !
Worth a try,for nothing,eh ??

cheers chap 4 the replies i thought that the wheels could be at fault but it normal caused by warped disks ill try and find some new spigot rings failing that fuck the 17s off lol

If you suspect a rim, try swapping it for one off the back.
If it is still there than look at TCA's, bushes, disc's, pads, calipers, bearings etc. If it goes then its the wheel or tyre.

I've got the same problem on my XR4x4 and I'm 99.9% sure it's the front hubs that are bent/distorted, it is common problem on the XR but I don't know if the Cossie suffers from the same thing, clamp the disc to the hub with some wheel nuts and give them a spin with a piece of wire clamped or bolted on to use as a pointer on the outer edge of the disc, if they run out of true with new discs then the hubs are fooked.

Have you got spigot rings in them then m8???????
Could just need the hubs/alloys cleaning up a bit
Clean the hubs up with a bit of emery cloth, and put a bit of grease on them before you stick the wheels on
Also its important to make sure the face of the hubs are clean before you put new discs on,this will give the same effect as warped discs because the disc doesn't sit flat on the hub if there rust/mud etc between disc and hub

Andy RST, or anyone !
Wonder if you could help as you mention brake judder at slow speed. I've just changed my lower arm for a second hand spare I had lying around as the rubber boot was split. I had a really difficult job to get it back together.
The ball joint in the arm I took off was stiff and the one i replaced it with was easy to move around. I've been told that the stiffer the ball joint is the better ? and so it seems i would have been better off replacing the boot on the original one.
I also reused the poly bushes from the original arm. Is this ok ?
The reason I ask is that at slow speeds I now have slight pulsating of the brake pedal as if the ABS is kicking in but the light does not come on in the dash. Breaking at speed seems fine.
Do the powerflex poly bushes come with new washers for the anti roll bar ?
Any advice ?
Cheers
Steve
